Requirements for NY state notarization or loan closing
Current valid address and phone number/s for assignment. Current cell phone number to contact officer during/at completion of closing.
Valid and current (not expired) photo identification is required. Only the following ID's are accepted for notarization in New York state:
- Drivers License – New York or other state
- State Photo Identification Card
- Military Identification Card
- Passport - Non-USA passports must be stamped by the INS
